So, for this topic I am my own worst enemy. Getting enough sleep is so important!! That’s when your body recovers and actually rebuilds itself. Studies have shown that people that don’t get enough sleep actually gain weight. That might explain why the numbers on my scale aren’t moving.
On average I only get around 6 hours of sleep. That is NOT enough. I should be getting 7-8 hours of sleep a night. I think, also, that I am trying to do “too much” for my workouts which can sometimes last over an hour. So, starting today, I am trimming back my workouts and that way I can “sleep in” a little bit in the mornings. I think 5 am is plenty early enough to get up for a workout, don’t you? I was getting up at 4am/4:30am most mornings. I know it’s not a big difference but I sure could use that extra 30-60 minutes of sleep!
I’ll let you know how this goes.
